The objective of AG Asset Management's Multi Cap Growth strategy is to provide superior risk-adjusted returns for our clients, in concert with our clients' needs and expectations. The strategy is based on three interrelated principles: (1) rigorous fundamental analysis, (2) continual collaboration among our team of experienced analysts and portfolio managers, and (3) a disciplined risk-control and portfolio construction process.
With regard to stock selection, our aim is the early and on-going identification of companies that have the potential to dominate their markets, especially markets in which we have identified growing demand and changing competitive dynamics. The process is team-centric; analysts and portfolio managers work together to conduct fundamental bottom-up research, identify themes and trends, and vet stock ideas. With this process we incorporate a macro-economic overview and extensive quantitative tools to identify and control risk.
The resulting portfolios consist of a relatively concentrated list of companies with significant expected earnings growth along with the potential for upside surprises and upward earnings revisions.
